Badger Cloud is the infrastructure platform behind Badger Commerce, engineered and operated by Kedos Consulting. It is a lean, self-managed Kubernetes platform designed to run production e-commerce at low cost, low latency, and a low carbon footprint.
What Badger Cloud does
We run the full lifecycle of customer-facing applications — from build artefacts through to live, monitored production — on infrastructure we own and automate end to end. Rather than renting an expensive managed platform, we operate a tightly-scoped Kubernetes cluster that does exactly what our workloads need and nothing they don't.

Kubernetes (k3s)
A lightweight, CNCF-certified Kubernetes distribution sized for ARM nodes — the orchestration layer for every workload.
GitOps with Flux
Git is the single source of truth. Flux continuously reconciles the cluster to match the repository — no manual kubectl apply.
Victoria Metrics & Grafana
Prometheus-compatible metrics with long-term storage, dashboards, and alerting that routes straight to the team.
Loki log aggregation
Centralised, queryable logs from every pod, correlated with metrics for fast diagnosis.
Cloudflare Tunnels
Zero-trust ingress with no exposed ports — traffic reaches services through authenticated tunnels.

Designed for efficiency
The whole platform is deliberately small. A single tainted control-plane node and a handful of worker nodes run the entire stack, which keeps both the cloud bill and the energy draw low. Because everything is declared in Git and reconciled automatically, the operational overhead stays minimal as the platform grows.
